CES 2013. Are you ready for this years new smartphones?

The Consumer Electronics Show 2013 is in full gear in Las Vegas. CES 2013 kicks off this week in Las Vegas and guarantees to show new smartphones. Here’s what we’ll be reporting.

Surprisingly few smartphones are leaked within the days and weeks leading up to the CES 2013 show. There are many rumors, be sure of that, however no valid leaks of great new devices. However we are positively sure that we will see some new devices from Samsung and Sony this year.

Here’s a breakdown of what smartphones may well be featured at CES 2013.

Apple Smartphones

LG now at CES 2013

LG made a conference scheduled  for 8 a.m on Monday, Jan. 7. It will use this conference to announce new TVs and different gadgets. Some of them might be the new Optimus G smartphone that we hear a lot about.

Motorola/Google Smartphones

Motorola has no real plans for CES 2013. It’s not holding a conference and has been quiet these past couple of days. It’s not expected to announce any important smartphones. Instead, it has been busy haggling with the FTC.

Nokia Smartphones

The same will can be said about Nokia. It’s scaled back its presence at the show considerably. A lot of rumors have been floating around recently about an aluminium version of the Lumia 920. The company will probably reserve their announcements for Mobile World Congress, that takes place in late February.

Pantech Smartphones

Pantech is anticipated to reveal at least one new smartphone throughout CES 2013. No details concerning the phone are leaked, therefore it might be anything. Pantech usually makes rugged or semi-rugged handsets for AT&T.

There will be no new BlackBerries at CES 2013. RIM is introducing BlackBerry 10 and its new smartphones at a separate event on Jan. 30.

Sony at CES 2013 Smartphones

Sony nearly always makes new device announcements at CES 2013, and has a conference scheduled  for January 7th, as well.
