HTC Myst Facebook Smartphone' leaks

HTC and Facebook have paired up for one more “Facebook Smartphone”, set to launch someday this spring with a 4.3-inch touchscreen and mid-range specs, according to UnwiredView.

Leaks over at the publication keeps the Facebook Phone rumor alive, a rumor that has almost died over the past years. Facebook and the Taiwanese phone manufacturer once offered a HTC device with a QWERTY keyboard and an infatuated Facebook button. Now the couple is prepared working on the HTC Myst.

The HTC Myst will go one step beyond with the Facebook app, Facebook traveler, Instagram, and different official Facebook applications preloaded on the handset, this might even be an ideal place for Facebook’s new News Feed plan.

Spec-wise, the Myst can provide mid-range specs, with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor,  1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage (no microSD expansion) a  5-megapixel rear-camera, 1.6-megapixel front-camera, LTE, and a 4.3-inch screen.

It’s not that clear if HTC has chosen to incorporate its new UltraPixel technology on the Myst that was used on the HTC One that will take full advantage of the 5 MP rear camera.

There’s no official word from HTC or Facebook, however given what our trusty sources have provided in conjunction with EvLeak’s track-record, all indications point that it is a real thing.
