Get phones for free from Microsoft, but there’s a catch!

All right, this will be a short article covering Microsoft’s new business strategy of giving phones for free. What phones? They’re giving away Nokia 1020 or 1520 to Android of iOS users as an effort to overthrow the two giants of the smartphone market, Google and Android. So if you want to get some phones for free now’s your chance, but wait, there’s a catch to it.

What should you expect from this “phones for free” scheme

It almost sounded too good to be true, didn’t it? Everybody expected that they can just trade any old Android or iPhone and get high-end devices. Well, this “phones for free” strategy doesn’t work that way. They are willing to trade if you have a Samsung Galaxy SII, an iPhone 4 or 4S. This offer is exclusively for the US and it’s mandatory that you make a two year AT&T contract.

This “phones for free” marketing strategy really shows how desperate Microsoft is to get back into the competition.
