Top 5 best Android smartphones

| April 22, 2013

One of the most common questions I get asked is usually is something along the lines of “What is the best Android smartphone ?”. What you should be asking is “What is the best Android smartphone for you?” and there are various issues, there are many Android smartphones that are game changers within the market and as a side note, I’m solely referencing devices that are on the market on retail shelves currently.

What are your top 5 best Android smartphones?  Feel free to list them in the comments section below !

1. Samsung Galaxy Note II

It’s big, totally different and wildly successful . Simply put, Samsung’s Galaxy Note II is better than all. It provides and offers a nice 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor, a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD screen, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p High Defination recording, a huge 3,100 mAh of battery power, 4G LTE connectivity , Android 4.1 and the new TouchWiz.

This is for sure one of my best Android smartphones for 2013. While the size is considered by a few to be large, it offers an incredible mix of options and performance, and it can handle 5 wireless networks which can be a bonus. Once it boils right down to it, there’s no good device, however what Samsung’s Galaxy Note II will do is appeal to different demographics. Whether or not you’re one that needs an oversized battery, giant display, S Pen to sign contracts and make nice notes, or high speeds with the on board quad-core CPU, the Galaxy Note II certainly has some features made for you.

2. Samsung Galaxy S III

The Samsung Galaxy S III could be the Galaxy Note II older brother. The specs are older and not so advanced, though the dual-core snapdragon S4 can work really well for many users. The 4.8-inch HD screen is gorgeous, the 8-megapixel camera takes fantastic footage, and also the recent upgrade to Android 4.1 will surely make this device a favorite between Android fans.

3. HTC One X+

The HTC One X+ could be a fusion of fantastic options from HTC. The 1.7 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 chip works unbelievably well, and also the real winner is the 64GB of internal storage.  For $199, you’re getting an Android smartphone phone with huge specs for that amount of money. The 4.8-inch HD screen is beautiful, and whereas the beefed up 2,100 mAh battery still struggles to make it through the day, it’s a pleasant option to the Samsung contenders on the market.

4. HTC DROID DNA

HTC is my top brand of manufactures and I really want it to make the best Android smartphone out there when it claimed that it designed the DROID DNA to set the bar for 2013′s specifications – and for the foremost part, it did. The 5-inch 1080p HD display is really nice, the build quality is amazing, and also the software quality is nice likewise. And who will complain when you have 4G LTE and also the 1.5 GHz quad-core snapdragon S4 professional CPU that powers it?

The draw back to the DROID DNA is that the scant 16GB of internal storage, with no choice to expand via a microSD card slot. HTC pitches cloud storage because it’s different, tho’ that looks to go against the new tiered data plan trend.

5. LG (Google) Nexus 4

While it’s not one amongst my personal top 5 best smartphones devices, I will understand the excitement round the LG (Google) Nexus 4. With stock Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), it’s packing serious killer specs like a 1.5 GHz quad-core snapdragon S4 professional CPU, a 4.7-inch HD screen, an 8-megapixel camera and a 2,100 mAh battery. Better yet, you’ll decide if you want to own it knowing it’s starting retail price is at $299.

It’s a pretty phone inside and out but I don’t see the value in selecting the Nexus 4 when different devices on the market bring a more robust value to the software side of things.

Hope you have enjoyed this best Android smartphones list and  feel free to post below more smartphones you feel should be listed here.
